Hailey Guerra is a multi-instrumentalist with a specialty in woodwinds currently based in the New Jersey/New York area. She is active in the musical theatre scene as a pit musician, as well as an orchestral clarinetist. Hailing from North Carolina, Hailey can be found working as a marching band woodwind instructor in the Raleigh, NC area. She is additionally well known as an active content creator on Instagram.

Hailey is in her first year of her M.M. in Multiple Woodwinds at the John J. Cali School of Music at Montclair State University in New Jersey. She studies clarinet as her primary instrument under KeriAnn DiBari. She receives woodwind doubling and saxophone instruction from Broadway musician Chad Smith.

She is a recent graduate of Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music, having received a B.M. in Clarinet Performance. She learned under clarinetist Eli Eban, but additionally worked with Howard Klug and Gábor Varga in pedagogy and chamber music settings. She studied with multi-instrumentalist Wayne Leechford for four years starting at the age of thirteen.

Hailey has been a woodwind doubler in the pit for many musicals such as Reefer Madness, Legally Blonde, The Color Purple, The Prom, Shrek, and more. She plays in the theatre pits of Indiana University’s Department of Theatre, Raleigh Little Theatre, and nearby high schools in the Midwest. She can also be seen playing a variety of instruments for new music premieres in the Jacobs School of Music. Aside from theatre, Hailey has also played clarinet and saxophone in the Wizard of Oz at the Indiana University Auditorium alongside many other orchestral performances.

Her content has grown to be popular in 2025, with some videos reaching over one million views. In the past, Hailey has created and managed social media for Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.
